After midnight, Google will start linking your data across all of Google’s products. On Thursday, a new privacy policy comes into effect at Google Inc. that allows the Internet search giant to sweep together a person’s data across its various services, from YouTube to Gmail and Google Plus, in an effort to better target the person with ads based on their personal preferences. This is a terrible news.

Apple's market capitalization topped $500 billion Wednesday, climbing to a mountain peak where few companies have ventured — and none have stayed for long.
